At our university hospital, we place great emphasis on education, both in clinical practice and in academic courses.
Medical students have the opportunity to complete mandatory internships such as clinical rotations and parts of the Clinical Practical Year, as well as voluntary internships with us. They are guided and supervised by experienced colleagues. The AKH Vienna is the largest training hospital in Austria for aspiring specialist doctors. Currently, there are around 30 doctors in training at the Clinical Department of Trauma Surgery.
